Assessment Center

But the interviewer was really good at building rapport and setting me at ease and I found myself able to share some very painful parts of my personal history, which I knew I needed to face in order to get the most out of the Village program. Together we built a Case Plan which will guide me through the rest of my stay.” – Village resident

Using standardized assessment tools, the Assessment Center evaluates residents in order to assist in the creation of individual and family case plans. If necessary, assessment staff members make recommendations for further evaluations in areas of mental health, medical and recovery. Special educational testing and assessments are also completed. The information gathered from resident assessments allows staff not only to tailor case plans to individual needs, but enables the Village to modify services in response to trends in our client population.

More than 800 residents complete assessments annually.
