Permanent Housing
“If it were not for this place I don’t know if I could have survived much longer on the street.” – Village Place tenant
Two affordable permanent supportive housing facilities are located adjacent to the St. Vincent de Paul Village campus. Serving approximately 160 tenants each year in 140 units, our permanent supportive housing provides a stable living environment and offers guidance, referrals and case management services as needed to help tenants maintain self-sufficiency. Applicants for permanent housing cannot exceed income guidelines. Rental subsidy is available to eligible tenants.
Impact:
Tenants in the Permanent Housing program remain on the average two-and-a-half to four years.
87% of tenants have maintained housing stability for more than one year.
Father Joe’s Villages remains committed to opening at least 200 more permanent housing units within the next three to four years.
