Interim Housing
“Because of everything here I have a chance to get back on my feet and make my way back to a real life. I hope whoever reads this will understand the importance of having someplace where we can start again.” – Village resident
Residents entering the Village begin in the Interim Housing program. In their first 10 days at the Village, residents complete program requirements and achieve benchmarks as they move through the continuum, including health screenings and program orientations. Families with income create a savings plan with the help of their staff contacts. Maximum length of stay in the Interim program is four months.
Impact:
Annually 2,514 residents are served in interim housing, receiving a total of 182,500 shelter nights.
